The Pyrenees Club is the foreign language club at River Oaks.
It is open to any student who is currently taking or has taken a foreign language. Composed primarily of students studying French or Spanish, other language students are also welcome.
We plan programs and activities to learn about the languages
and cultures of other countries. In recent years, the Pyrenees
Club has sponsored a cheese tasting party at Tonore’s, a Bon
Appetit Fiesta tasting party, as well as programs on countries such as Madagascar, the Galapogos Islands, Persia, the Vatican City, and Yugoslavia. The dues are $10 per year.
