The River Oaks Drama Club is an organization that encourages the participation in all theatre arts and provides the opportunity for students to experience professional theatre in a safe environment. We strive to provide entertainment to the community and our student body while allowing students the prospect of growing as actors, and more importantly, as people. The RODC consists of: actors/performers, members of technical arts (light design, props, set construction, sound, set painting), costume design, make-up crew, and anyone who shares a love of theatre. Membership is not determined on acting abilities, or participation in the major school productions.
No Drama Club student will be required to take an active role in performing, assisting, or playing in any theatrical production. We do offer leadership positions and try to attend community theatre as a group when possible.
